Oliver Maklott is a sound and media artist from Vorarlberg, Austria. After completing an apprenticeship in the field of electronics in his hometown he went to Vienna to study audio engineering at the SAE Technology College and electronic music at the Lehrgang für Computermusik und elektronische Medien. After his studies he worked for several companies and projects and involved himself as a developer and technician with a strong focus on media processing. His emphasis lies in linking different disciplines to forward sonic abstractions and unconventional sound and media production. His background in electronics and passion for new technologies build a strong influence and reflect in his approach towards artistic expression, both musically and objectively.
